Identify, draft, and submit compelling grant proposals to secure non-dilutive funding and partnerships for our deep-tech initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities globally.
  • Write, edit, and proofread grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder priorities.
  • Collaborate with the technical and leadership teams to gather necessary data for applications.
  • Maintain a calendar of submissions and ensure timely reporting on active grants.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in grant writing, ideally within tech, science, or deep-tech sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive writing style.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Track record of successfully securing grants or competitive funding.

Preferred

  • Understanding of African tech ecosystems and relevant regional funds.
